Front End Developer

Key Responsibilities

Develop web-based applications in Java.
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
Prepare and produce releases of software components.
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience working as a Java Developer.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Experience in Java/J2EE development and working on Linux platforms.
Proficient with Java frameworks such as Eclipse, Spring, and Hibernate.
Familiar with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery/Prototype/DOJO), and XML.
Experience in database administration (PostgreSQL).
